An amazing statistic I came across today: there are more mobile phones in the world than credit cards. There are also more mobile phones in the world than cars. Understanding this paradigm shift is, of course, the company which has made its name by being best equipped to match searchers with content – Google. Google has openly acknowledged that it sees the mobile web as the future. Now, the question we pet businesses must ask ourselves is this: if we have been given a really, really big clue as to the future of the biggest, fastest growing medium in the history of mankind, what are we going to do to take full advantage of it?
